Default Stock monsoon cd player

the Stock Monsoon cd player, does or does it not have rca plug in's the back?

ive never seen the back of a stock monsoon radio. but in all the installs ive done in my life...i did it for a living for a while...ive never seen a stock radio with rca outs....im pretty sure it just sends preout signal to the amp in the trunk and then the amp amplifies the signal and powers the speaker.

i assume you want to install an aftermarket amp. if thats the case you need to pull a speaker and make sure that the impedance level of the speaker matches up with whatever amp you want to use....most of the time car manufacturers use weird impedances in there premium systems to keep us from messing with them. if we do play with them and the impedances dont match up...eventually youll burn up the speaker or the amp..or both.

Sounds iffy. dhunter, it might be worth it to look into having a shop install it.

They'll deffinitely need to know there's a factory amp in the back left corner.
