Alan's New York to Bettendorf Trip.
Alan started his trip yesterday with an overnight stop in Boardman, Ohio. Today he stopped in Lima,Ohio for lunch at Skyline Chili. Unfortunately Kay & I were the only ones that were able to met up with him. But it was lucky for us as we got all his attention!!
 We had a very nice 2 1/2 hour gab session over lunch. We very much enjoyed the time with Alan!! He is now making his way though Illinios to Iowa. If you get the chance to meet up with Alan take pics & post. We only took a couple  & here they are.

I'd really like to meet up with Alan. He seems to me a jolly bloke to hang with. Maybe he'll make a roadie to FL one of these days.

i got these 2 crazy TXT/PIX messages last night from Erin with Alan. This has to be one of the silliest trips. One of these days i'll the an .org tour. Maybe in couple years. By then i'll probably be able to assuming there's no BabyExampl's running around.

pics from the camphone. i keep forgetting to bring my camera.
last night was dinner at harris (the sausage, not so much  ), then whiteys ice cream (they were out of my fave flavor ! ) , then walgreens (oh yeah, excitement!) then drove around davenport, rock island, back to davenport, saw the sky bridge. got home around 9:30ish and i was out by 10:30. :wuss:here are some pics from the camphone. #1: erin and alan at harris with curby. #2: this one's for amy: it's a big pile of POOP! ok, it's not, but it made us think of poop and then we immediately thought of amy. #3: alan and mike at the skybridge! enjoy! more pics to come! alan has been set free in the city today (or he might just stay at home), so i'll keep everyone posted. i only have a few rules in my house: no hookers, spray and exhaust fan if you poop and don't touch my birds. so far he's doing quite well.
