Thumbs up Dayton, Ohio GTG July 25th @ 8:00am

This is my first GTG here in Dayton, Ohio and I hope to get more going as I get better at setting things up.

The link below is for the meeting point to start the GTG at 8:00am.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...7&z=12&iwloc=A

From there the plan is to visit Wright Brothers Memorial and Interactive Center, then off to the Air Force Museum. After that we are heading over to BD's Mongolian Grill at "The Greene" for lunch.

After lunch we can drive downtown to see a couple of monuments, then visit the Wright Bicycle Shop.
Hopefully the weather will be nice and provide some good photo op's.

There are several Hotels and Motel's close by for people who might want to spend a night near the Mall at Fairfield Commons if they have to travel far for the GTG.

The AF Museum is at least a full day for folks who've never been there--you just doing a "drive-by"? As many times as I've been down to events and visiting the AF Mus. I've never made it to the Wright Bros. Memorial or Shop. Can't make this trip because of work, hopefully you'll get a good turnout.

The Museum opens at 9:00am, I had planned on about 2-3 hrs of looking around inside before heading back out, maybe a little more depending on how everyone feels at the time. It is a big place.

It's a shame we can't do a "drive-thru"

Is it the last Saturday yet? I can't wait to go to Dayton. I'm trying my best to find other NB owners that I know to go.

I think this GTG is gonna be great!

I'm hoping that everyone who comes will find it enjoyable.

BD's Mongolian Grill is a unique experience.

I just saw a advertisement for a Celtic Festival at one of the stopping points planned on my GTG for a photo-op, so I'm not sure if they will have that street blocked off or not, we might have to detour a little.

Paul, calm down before you explode.

Unfortunately they cannot make it. The one with the techno blue '99 NB will be at the beach then and the lady w/ th '78 vert can't make it either.

I was hoping they would tag along but they just can't. But, Gus and I will be there for sure.

I'm sure I can come up with another GTG later.

I had hoped to go to the Volksfest19 near Columbus on August 8th, check you calendar and see if you are able to go to that.

I've done this drive just under a million times, its a solid 4hrs, there is a speed trap on 70 about 30min east before you get to columbus. You will go up & down a big hill. The cops hide by an underpass, very difficult to see.

Other than that...its a smooth ride

y'all should be yens, show your pgh pride--jk

Have a great one, sorry it didn't work out with interior parts.
