Let me know if you don't see the little silver bullets on each side. They could one, or both be missing. I can shoot a picture of mine if you don't see them, but if they are there you should see them immediately. I had not noticed them on mine when I was trying to get it back into place, but looked to day to see what "latched" it into place, so I could get back to you. They are what I found. Sorry this has drug out so long.

I totally understand your explanation- thanks Kenny. One thing.... can you merge tracks, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3,1.4 etc., as one track?

It was loud enough for me but I think it's a personal thing. I was going to try that Hella one too. For what 15 bucks I'd give it a shot. Tell me how you like it if you go for it.

Thanks for the link to the video. By the looks of things and from what CJ was saying, The Boss took the place of Roland's VS series, which were good units- a buddy of mine had one. Went to Roland's site a second ago and yep, the Boss is the Boss now. I love the fact that it has MIDI sync. I can get all my sequences from my Korg O1/W and import them via MIDI. Question: can you mix down the virtual tracks? I really never understood the virtual track thing. I'm guessing you get the virtual tracks, mix them down, say to trk7 and 8. Now you can track some more and again mix down to one or two tracks.

I'm liking this unit more and more Kenny!

Man, oh man, that sounds pretty sweet. Kinda reminds me of something GLAD would sing!! I'm considering this unit pretty hard Kenny. It will probably be sometime early '10. Very nice vocal work buddy!

WOW that's an impressive piece of equipment. Pretty much a self-contained studio. Boss is still owned by Roland right? I guess this unit is close competition to the "VS" series of multi-track recorders. Do you have any engineering experience?

I like that recorder. I've been thinking about a ADAT hard disk recorder, but that unit sounds pretty good. We'll be talking much about this i'm sure:D

Oops, my bad. I thought I dropped you a response a while back... no matter. Your stuff is so good, it's worth repeating. I love the production quality of your work- very professional. And the lyrics are right up my alley too. I gave some of your stuff another listen. I really needed a pick me up and it did the job! Keep doing what you're doing. The laborers are few mang!
