Thanks for the reply and search keywords. Gave me some pictures of what it is supposed to look like. According to the stock image, my side splash guards are missing these parts to bolt my new one on.

You have to look on ebay. search in the 98-05 beetle and search keyword "tails". You'll see a whole variety of them.

That's a Photoshop job, but when the Beetle was pretty new -- back in 1999 or 2000, probably -- there was a Porchse-ified Bug running around the show circut and stuff. I'm sure you could turn it up with the right search keywords. I thought it was kind of ugly, but it was definitely neat nonetheless.

That's the kit I have and it works good. I've used it on many rear brake jobs.
