    2.0 Liter Gas
Hello all, I had a good running 2004 new beetle GLS hatchback 2.0 non-turbo and it had been sitting a while as my backup car. I went to jump it the other day because the battery was low, and I made the mistake of putting the jumper cables on the wrong posts, backwards, while the other car was...
  3. The day Joose wouldn't start.

    2.0 Liter Gas
I offer this little blog of info on the chance it may help others. The problem with modern cars is that they've become overly complicated. Take for instance the morning I prepared Joose for the morning commute. Nothing unusual, warmed him up and parked him on the street in the direction Jeanne...

Questions, Issues or Problems with the New Beetle
Hi all! I have a 2000 Beetle with 160,000 miles. Last week, my car turned off while I was parallel parking. It took a few tries to turn my car back on and when it finally did turn on, the check engine light was on. I brought it to a mechanic who said they were 95% sure it was the fuel pump...
