Sounds like you have a bad regulator which is very common. There is a link to a good youtube video on here that should get you thru the repair. Just search for window regulator and you should find it. I just did the pass rear regulator on my wifes vert a few weeks ago using the instructional video combined with a few tips I found on here and the vortex. It took me around 4-5 hours and was much easier with the top down. Good luck.
