Hello all.
I recently had the timing belt, water-pump tensioner thermostat plastic housing etc...complete kit replaced by local euro car garage
all the parts were from blauparts, Now two months on it has started losing coolant, half a gallon in a week, I had the car running for half an hour after topping up the expansion tank and could not find drips of coolant anywhere.
No milky emulsified oil either...
Anyone else had this mystery?
Thank you.
Ian.

I'd take it back to the shop that did the work. It's possible one of the parts they replaced was bad. Either that or they made a mistake somewhere.
Have the shop pull the lower timing belt cover(the one over the crank pulley)Yeah they have to remove the harmonic pulley for the serpentine belt. It is easy to pinch or nick the waterpump o-ring and they leak after the car gets hot, You will see a pink residue from a leak there along the bottom. or streaks of coolent down the block from the waterpump.
