hello guys i have a 2006 2.5 auto and its leaking oil.
its not the oil pan and i see a little oil on the oil filter
canister and i see oil leaking from where the engine and trans meet under the flywheel

the oil filter canister will seap oil, but the engine and flywheel could be a main seal.

possibly cracked filter housing cracked due to over tightening of a terrible design to match the rest of the all over crappy design of the new beetle. The only thing lacking on my 2007 toilet is a flush handle!

It's your vacuum pump dude, the seal to be exact. Going to post a DIY without removing the transmission on an automatic., just did this myself.

Lol. I have a very tiny bit of seapage somewhere on my 1.8. The dealer told me about it when i brought him in for his oil change. They said it wasn't bad so they would worry about it later...possibly when they are installing a new motor. Hehe.

I hope you figure out what's going on.
