You need to get somewhere to get the codes read. I know here in the States any auto parts store will do it for free. Not sure if that is the case in the UK though.
1.6 Beetle check engine light
Hi guys in in the UK and have a 1.6 beetle with a check engine light problem.
The light comes and goes and ive been reading that a lot of people have had trouble with the gas cap so ive replaced that but still have the issue.
Ive noticed that the light always goes out when the gas tank gets to 1/4.
Can anyone help advise me?
