I bought a 2001 1.8t beetle with a blown engine, and I was wondering if it was possible to swap it out for the tdi engine? Has anyone tried This

You will also have to swap transmissions, gas and diesel transmissions are geared differently. Also if it’s an automatic transmission it just wouldn’t be worth the effort.

Big feet too small accelorator pedel space.
New Member ForumI have a 2002 Beetle. My feet are too wide for the accelerator space. Sometimes the top of my shoe gets hung-up under the brake pedal. Is there a method to widen the space between the brake and the center console? The car is an automatic.- 0
