Will a set of 17" x 8" Audi rims fit on a stock 99 Beetle ?

The bolt pattern is the same 5 x 100 and the offset looks close, I'm curious about the width if this will cause any rubbing problems. Any recommendations on a tire size that is close to stock diameter ?

If they are from a TT ( like fat fives), then yes. Others may fit as well. Caliper clearance would probably be the biggest issue. Nothing a small spacer wouldn't fix. What wheel is it?

You can run a 8inch width with no problems.

I'll try and post some pics later today.

My Dad is trading in his 2006 A4 for a new 2013 A4 and the bolt pattern is different on the new car so he will have a set of nice Audi rims left over that were used for snow tires. He's keeping the snow tires to mount on a new set of rims.

The Audi rims are a different bolt pattern.

Turns out 06 Audi A4s had some different sizes, some of the online tire and wheel sites list an 06 as 5 x 100 and some list them as 5 x 112, these wheels are 5 x 112 so they will not work. The good news is they will work on the 2013 A4.
