Hello, so glad I found this forum. I just purchased a 2002 Beetle for my daughter's 16 b-day, she is so thrilled. We have an issue with the rearview mirror/clock combo. It is not working and before spending a chunk of change to buy a new one I thought I would check the fuses. I cannot locate the fuse for this, does anyone out there know which fuse controls this? Thanks so much in advance!!!

I did a quick search and found this thread:

Check the three fuses on top of the battery. I wiggled mine a bit once and the AC started to work...maybe your rearview mirror will work if you wiggle those three fuses.

The interior lights are also not working when you open the door nor are is the dash illuminated. Thanks, I will try wiggling the fuses. I did not know there were fuses above the battery. I only saw the fuse box attached to the dash.
