I bought my bug cheap but it runs great now. But I keep having to fix something on it all the time. After putting new tie rods, inner and outer, the alignment is way off. I took it to a shop and they told me that a body shop neds to pull it back into position. Isherwood anyway I can do this by myself?

Apparently it must have been in an accident. You might check with a body shop one that has a frame machine and get their opinion, they might even be able to align it for you after adjusting the frame.

I’m going to assume that the alignment shop knew that the subframe can be adjusted slightly? Maybe you should try another alignment shop first, get a second opinion.

It pulls far right. I found a place that will do it all for $98. So we'll see how that turns out soon. 😃

You can get a little bit of camber adjustment at the top mounts. You could have badly worn upper mounts . Worth replacing is you are in there
