2004 beetle 1.8l
I'm not sure what is going on. In the photo you will see lots of white smoke which it pumps out the entire time it is running, plus it has very little power. I know it has had some oil issues in the past which I have fixed and I also know it has been drivin with very little oil in it multiple times bc the oil leaks that keep popping up and not checking the fluid levels. I installed an oil pressure gauge in it awhile back bc the oil light would randomly come on and start beeping which is due to the oil pressure dropping really low. It shows 0-10 in idle but always 25-35 while driving.
Any ideas? My guess is either bad gasket or bad turbo, I just do not have much experience with turbos.

A easy way, to check the turbo for looseness and impeller damage; is to remove the turbo inlet hose/casting and check it visually, see if it damage, too much play.

If you might suspect a head gasket; a combustion leak tester, should help with that (sold or available for rent; at most auto parts stores):
