I wonder what the reserve is? Someone will be glad to get this car.

Being a brand new car, the reserve is probably very close to what was paid for the car. I would guess between $22,600 and $23,000, especially with the 2006 TDI Beetles being in short supply and most of the dealerships putting a hefty mark up on them. (One dealership was adding a $1,500 premium on all their TDI's)

Here in NC the TDI's are available from the local dealership..... No wait. Once gas went below $2.50 and diesel stayed above $3 the demand for diesels fell off here....

I contacted a dealership in the Phoenix AZ area about a 2005 TDI they still had in stock. They still wanted nearly $23,000 for it and would NOT budge off the price.

There is a 2002 Uni Red TDI at my dealer. I was surprised to see it.

I can't wait until I'm done with school and trade in my car for a TDI...

Anyone know why VW is being so stupid and only selling automatic/tiptronic TDI's and no 5 speeds? They seem to be selling cars in the strangest ways...the '06 Passat VR6s are being sold with automatics. Can't figure that out either.
