How do I test the single cooling fan which does not come on when the a/c is on. No overheating so far but no a/c. Fan to replace is pretty pricey want to make sure fan is bad before buying. The plug has four post two heavy two lighter. Any help appreciated.

I have the same issue, I just purchased my daughter a 2006 2.5 NB and yesterday the temp light was flashing red, I looked at the fan and it was not turning, I turned the a/c on and it started spinning slow, the fan will not work on high. How do I test the fan operation and determine what is bad and what to replace?
