I bought my daughter a 2007 Convertible. Eventually the lights started failing. I changed the bulb in the driver side one and worked properly. Due to issues with previous owner I couldn't get the passenger one out unless I broke it so I decided to get a new set for the car. Again, replaced the drivers side and it works fine.

After getting the passenger side on out I slid the new one into place but it is not working. I tried putting some bulb grease in the connection to see if maybe it wasn't connecting properly, still nothing.

The unit is installed properly and locked into place. Any suggestions other than the wring went bad somehow?

Time for a test light.

Check both the power and ground side with the test light.

Did you replace just the bulb or the entire headlight assembly?

Many of the headlights have internal wiring problems where the wiring and insulation gets overheated and fails.

I replaced the entire assembly on both sides...

What do you mean "test light"?

Thanks
