I suppose, many pad will "work"; I guess, the question is, what type of pad do you want, what type of dust characteristics are you willing to put up with, what kind of stopping performance and how long do you want, them to last you?

Last brake job I did on my Turbo S; I went with oem Zimmerman rotors and stock VW pads. Something, that had lower dust would be nice; check out FCPEURO, they have lifetime on all their parts.
