I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for help, but here goes nothing.

My 2012 Turbo bettle is not producing heat. The air that comes out is coolish. If it's warm outside, it gets a bit warmer but not much. Nothing like it use to.
My heater core was replaced in January of this year because I was having the same issue. However it helped some. The heat would be stong, however it would only be warmer out of 2 vents. You had to have the others closed for it to blow warm air.
My car doesn't over heat.
I'm leaking coolant tho. I cant find were it is leaking. My coolant doesn't bubble in the reservoir.
I just replaced the water pump and timing belt a year ago.

Anyone have any ideas what it is?

Who did the heater core replacement? Sounds like you have a coolant leak; that needs diagnosed and pinpointed. Typically, a cooling system pressure tester; is a good test to start with, to find the source, of the coolant leak. Do you want to tackle this yourself or have a professional repair shop handle it?

Update: We've fixed the leak in the heater core. No more coolant leaking. Flushed the heater core as well. Heat still doesn't work. The heater core gets hot, but there is only cold air coming out of the vents. I was thinking it's the blend door? A while a go the nob to switch it from hot to cold broke, it was very loose when turning. However, it was fixed. Not sure what else could be the problem.

If the heater core is flowing coolant and getting hot, it sounds like the hvac/heater controls, box, would be the next thing to check? I would download the eRWin service manual; for the hvac system, to help to diagnose, do testing and complete any needed repairs.

Please share any photos and details about these repairs; we haven't seen many have these type of issues, on the later 2012+ Beetles before. Thanks.
