My 2012 vw beetle battery started to drain and would not hold charge. the battery/engine/epc light came on and battery would not hold charge. so I replaced battery and it did the same the following day. I replaced alternator and the still no cigar.

all the battery/epc/abs/engine lights are still on. is there something I missed?

You lucky, cause I have exactly same year vehicle, and had the same problem. All you need is replace main fuse, wich is located under the fuse box. Fuse itself is expensive, $215 new, i did replace it at the dealership, but i am shure you can do it yourself.

Please give more details; if you have them, so people can learn from your repair experience. Thanks. We need as much repair info as possible; on the 2012+ vehicles, moving forward. As these drop out of warranty; people, will need to fix them! :)
