Hi folks new to this forum wife has just bought a beetle 2004 and by the time she got it home the engine management light was on and wasn’t running right plug in the code reader and got 5 codes these are 16935 / 17811 / 17925 / 16514 / 16686 can any body shed some light not a happy house hold at the min with the luck we have with cars ☹

Are you planning on working through these yourself or sending it to a mechanic? Do you have vcds? From the way you’re reading the codes it looks like you may. I’d start by clearing the codes since you have them all recorded and see what comes back.

The wife’s been in touch with the person she bought it of and he’s away with the car today to see if he can get the problem sorted if he can’t he’s going to refund her the money back but she’s hopeing for it to come back fixed thanks for the reply’s
