I had trouble with tranny failing to go into high gear. A friend removed the valve body and cleaned, reinstalled valve body and high gear worked. He said the internal part of the tranny looked brand new and no metal filings. A few months later the same problem appeared. Is there an electronic device somewhere that could be causing the problem other than the valve body? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wish I had an answer for ya. These auto transmissions are a real Pandora's box. may I also recommend joining our Facebook member's page- a lot of the orgers hang out there. Hopefully you can get some answers there. See the link in my signature.
