Please get the car scanned; post any and all trouble codes (most auto parts stores, will do this for free). I would recommend you buy a vw compatible scanner/code reader; search on amazon.com for a vs450, they are less then $50. They will give you Volkswagen specific trouble codes; that can help you figure out what is wrong with your car.
Abs light coming on after leaving the car standing
My old/new beetle has been standing since I bought it about a week ago and I went to start it to move it after painting the sill and the ABS light has decided to stay on...
I went out a few times the following day after buying it and the car was fine and just wondered if it could be a simple fix...
