AC Intermittently Cooling

Had freon pumped in 1mth ago. It cools when it's 81 outside or lower, but these summer temps are winning. What should I expect to pay for a fix at a shop? Compressor right? Thoughts??

That is a open question; the problem needs to be diagnosed correctly and then, the could give you a estimate, for needed repairs?

Have you or a shop; done any diagnostic steps, to isolate the cooling problem?
