Hey guys,
I've got an old mod that isn't working for me anymore. It happen to be a Dension iceLink Plus that connects directly to an iPod via cradle. But now, I'd like to get a simple aux line in and my 2K has no such stock thing.

I'd like the final product to look OEM so, I can upgrade my old Dension dongle to a newer model with Bluetooth and just toss the cradle inside my glovebox or I can get a Monsoon headunit with the aux wiring and DIY an socket into my glovebox. Cost looks roughly the same.

What do you guys think?

Your best bet it to buy a new stereo, with the front aux input, and even better, a Sirius receiver. Much easier than splicing new hardware.

Want stock look or hack my din cable to a USB and Audio in signal. Will loose track controls but it will be relatively free. But I'd like something nicer.

I like it OJ. Since going with a Monsoon CD looses Bluetooth in my budget, I'll dig into my wiring diagram and see if I can hack the molex like you did. Thanks for giving some good tips.
