Wonder if it might be reasonable to use G05 in our cars instead of G12. I did notice when my heart valve was leaking that the g12 really does like to GEL up. I also didn't know about problems with cavitation in a pure OAT coolant like G12. Maybe that's why the plastic water pumps impellers are so prone to breaking up.

Hmm...that's something new. It must be a temporary ghost in the machine, because it didn't do that this morning.

All I can say is try again later, because normally you don't need to be registered to view the forums, only to post in them.

Frankly, I see no problem using G-05. The metals and plastics used in the NB cooling system are no different than what any other manufacturer uses.

I also see no need to stock anything other than G-05 on my garage shelf for ANY car. I always do a complete flush when I service cooling systems so compatibility is never an issue.
