I've gone thru 4 starters in 5 years. Also went thru 3 batteries in that time. Thought I found main problem by replacing the alternator along with the cable leading from the alternator to the battery. The voltage regulator wasn't working on the alternator. But today I'm worried I lost another starter. Tried moving car at lunch, when I turn the key the starter doesn't turn over or click. I haven't noticed symptoms of a sluggish starter lately. I didn't have time to look things over, but battery seemed fine. Will check fuses as usual and look at the cable leading from the battery to the starter.
Any ideas? Could it be the ignition switch?
