Aha! Turbo-S is nice, yes, but apparently not as hot as the TDI according to your quote above.

edit: Actually, the Turbo-S is like driving a GTI 20th AE or 337. Basically, it's the GTI motor with a 6-speed. Same suspension, same everything. It's a nice setup, however, it was $4k more than a stock 1.8T sport or GLS..hence why it wasn't renewed for 05.

Here is one! After over three years, still feels like new. I get excited at the end of work, thinking "Ooo I get to drive my S in a few minutes!". I have never referred to her as a pocket rocket, 'tho. I guess she is!
