Any way to fix pressure washer lines on soft top?

So my partner and I recently decided to wash my 2006 convertible at home with the pressure washer. (Big mistake, I know now) I have heard it leaves permanent damage to the top, but does anyone know if repainting the top will maybe cover the lines, or is it something I will just have to live with? I would rather repaint it or just leave it as is rather than replacing the top altogether as it’s still in relatively good condition for its age. :/
