OK. I got the MAF replaced on Saturday and drove it around for a while for a few errands. When I started it up on Sunday, the #$%#$%*( CEL came back on. This time, though, it gave different codes (the previous ones were about running lean on one bank). The new code is:
well... maybe throttle position issue... I would try recalibrating using the VAG-COM. It also might just be dirty... can be cleaned using a throttle body cleaner (the butterfly might not be seating bc of build up - that might explain adaptation limit being reached).
