Spirit is a 2004 GL TDI with the DSG gearbox, in Sunflower Yellow w/ Grey leatherette.

Thus far, mods have been fairly light, and include:

BRM wheels (of course)
Eeyore's rubber running board covers
Blue & white Euro emblems
PIP wood slat roof rack (still goin' strong)
Chrome eyebrows
Chrome taillight trim
Chrome side trim
Number discs on doors (these come and go when they need cleaning)
Monster mats
Wolfsburg crest tissue box in rear seat
Belkin iPod holder mounted in TVA aluminum bud vase

Might be forgetting something, but so far she's just mildly modded. Will do more eventually, I'm sure. :)

Thanks! The first two pics were taken in Tokio, Texas, which is on the way to R2k (and is basically just that building, more or less). I've taken pics of all three of my retro NBs there. Something about the place just intrigues me.

The third is from Roswell (of course). Steph and I were exploring around the town and taking pics at all the old buildings/signage there. That's the (apparently long-abandoned) Roswell Motor Supply building.

the BRMs look hot!!!
Thanks! After making two two-toned NBs, I wanted to do something a little different.

Except for the BRMs. I think they've become my trademark! :D

Your New beetle looks saaweeeeet! Love the Flat Four BRMs, and the badges. EMPI rules, or at least they did way back when I used to read Hot VW magazines as a teenager. I always wanted EMPI and Gene Burg parts on my beetle. I was going to use BRMs on my car and go with a so called high performance retro look until I saw the Caractere kit and went down that road. Oh well, I'm rattling on see you around(maybe Roswell next year).

P.S.

If you don't want this picture in your thread let me know and I'll remove it.
