Hello
My back of my back seat is stuck in the upright position. I was cleaning the car when I pushed the seat back unaware of the seat belt being where the seat clicks in.
I have pushed and pulled the seat and still cant get it to go down.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the seat down without much trouble?
Also my drivers seat is stuck too. I cant move it either way. I have had held the handle up while someone pushed the back of the seat fwd it is still stuck.
Any ideas on how to get these seats unstuck would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I have a 2000 NB 1.8 T.

Hey, sometimes; the wire adjustment/release "linkage", can come undone on the seats and that is why they won't release. These are connected to the release levers or in the case; of the back, the push down button. It would take some investigating; to find the wire release linkage and either pull it with some pliers or fix what is broken, so you can release the seats from their locked position. Either that or they are jammed; for some reason, sometimes objects are in the way (causing them to jam).
