2006 TDI NB. battery draining overnight. have it narrowed down to the 2nd wire on the battery fuse block. I disconnected the wire (it goes to the relay block under the steering wheel) and put a voltmeter between the wire and the positive battery terminal, shows battery voltage, put the ammeter across same connection and I get an fluctuating reading between 1.4 and 2.11 amps set on the 10A setting. I have removed all relays and fuses and have had no change.
Any thoughts?

Do you have the Monsoon radio? The Monsoon amp is known to be an issue with battery drain.
