Beetle dashboard SOLVED

So I don't like soft touch tacky crappy stuff :mad:

I thought about painting but I hate having a glare so I chose to wrap it in a suede like material.

Went to Joann fabrics and found a suitable material and some high temp. fabric glue. I only needed 24" and it was on sale (score :D)

Total: $17.some odd cents!

That's pretty cool - I like it. I imagine it will require vacuuming - be sure not to spray windshield cleaner directly on the inside of the windshield - it might do weird things to the fabric.
I had planed on doing the door panels and headliner in this material but never thought of doing the dash. Thats a great idea.

I plan to do a lot more like the doors/headliner too. This was my first try at something like this and it went well. Now to decide what next.

I am concerned with fading in the sun, only time will tell.
