Hi! I tried to start my 2005 Beetle today, and it wouldn't turn over. It was like the battery is dead, but I just replaced it a few months ago. There's no power to the car though, the windows won't roll down, the radio won't come on. There were two warning lights, one for the battery, and one that I think is for a loose gas cap (though I haven't put gas in the car in a few weeks-short commute!), it looks like a beetle with a screw sticking out of the side. Any suggestions or ideas as to what the heck I'm dealing with here? Thanks!!

Try checking your gas cap. Make sure its nice and tightened down. Have you tried jump starting the car?

Looks to me like your battery has gone dead...
Notice that your trip meter mileage is 0.0

This usually only happens when you reset it or the battery goes dead as the instrument cluster has lost it voltage to keep the mileage current.

You might check the fuse box on top of the battery to make sure you don’t have a problem or blown fuse. I would check your fuses and then charge your battery or get a jump, I bet it starts up.
