Might be the thermalstat. If the thermalstat stucks open the car would never heat up. Check the temperature of the upper radiator hose and lower hose using your hand. If they are the same after like 20 minutes running, the thermalstat is probably stucking open.
Mine usually flashes after driving on the interstate in the winter. When it is really cold out my engine just doesnt want to get that warm. But then I also probably should change the sensor. Its on the list of things to do on Kaylee Bug.
