In this thread, we shall post any bugs we find with the new version of vb3.

Here is mine..

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.0 Release Candidate 3:
Invalid SQL:
DELETE FROM usergrouprequest
WHERE usergrouprequestid IN();
MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax near ')
' at line 3
Error Number : 1064
Date : Tuesday, September 13th 2005 @ 08:31:37 AM
Script : http://newbeetle.org/vb3/joinrequests.php
Referrer : http://newbeetle.org/vb3/joinrequests.php?usergroupid=10
IP Address : 68.145.13.33
Username : CrazyJames
Classname : vb_database
This occured while trying to add a user to a usergroup from the UserCP (which should allow for people to put people into a usergroup if they are the group leader withour requireing admincp access) We might want to search the vbulletin forums to see if they have a fix.. or a patch

- On an interesting note, when I tried to add the above user (who caused the error in the UserCP) via adminCP I was told that they were already in the group...

Update on the bug:

Upon some testing, I have determined that the problem is in removing the User from the JoinRequest queue, as he is added to the UserGroup from the UserCP.

But that request will stay in the queue untill I attempt to add him from the AdminCP, which will then report back that he is allready in the group, and remove him from the JoinRequestQueue...

This isn't a bug really, probably just a configuration.

But it allows non-registered (and I would assume therefore, non-moderators) to do a http://newbeetle.org/vb3/online.php.

I would assume that is a function we would want to keep to just mods, as it is now?
Yup this is just a configuration that hasnt been switched... if we are gonna switch it
