While changing the oil in my 2006 TDI this weekend I noticed a humming / buzzing sound when the key was in the on position coming from within the engine somewhere. When the key was off this went away instantly.

I have noticed this sound right when I turn my engine off after driving.

Any idea where this could be coming from? I originally thought fuel pump, but wouldn't that be back near the tank?

If so, that is normal and it is the Intake Flap Motor (V157).
