Hi All, just registered today as I am trying to find out whether anyone has any experience in cleaning their Beetle Cabrio hoods! My Beetle - Willow - has a cream hood and, whilst is doing pretty well dirt wise, it could do with a good old clean.
I'm in Cheshire in the UK if anyone knows of any good service providers in the reasonably near vicinity! Or products that I could get hold of to tackle it myself!

Lisa.

Is there a reason you can't wash the hood the same as the rest of the car?

Are does "hood" mean the canvas convertible top in the UK?
If so... and you're talking about the convertible top... RaggTopp is the product of choice. You should be able to find it online. There's a cleaner, and a protectorant. You'll want to apply both.

If you're really talking about the hood... just use a good quality car wash solution, or some people are swearing by the Mr. Clean Auto Wash system.

Damn, then UK'ers speak English really weird. he he, j/k.

Well, I haven't used it myself, but heard great stuff about it's users, so I do a 3rd reccomendation for RaggTopp.
