I just had a new battery installed. Afterwards my radio wasn't working right. However, it isn't displaying "SAFE" or prompting me to enter a code. It displays 88.9, even though it isn't actually playing that radio station. None of the buttons do anything expect for the Power button, which simply turns off the display. Do I need to hold any particular button to activate the prompt to enter the radio code?

If your radio is the original, you do not have to enter the radio code as it will reset itself. If it displays "SAFE" and the a few minutes later it displays "88.9" then it has reset itself and there is no need to enter the Radio Code.

However if you want to reset the radio, the easiest way is just to disconnect the battery for couple of minutes. If the radio displays 88.9 but none of the radio buttons work then I agree with pencilneck; you might need a new radio.
