Hi fellow beetle lovers.
My red beetle seems particularly vulnerable to stone chippings and I have been advised to get a car bra.... are they any good? If they are, could someone please advise me on the best make??
Thanks for your help.

I have a Colgan Custom that I use for highway driving especially (and winter driving where there's all that salt on the side of the road to kick up).

It helps quite a bit - but be sure to park in the shade if possible if you leave it on for extended periods (inconsistent paint fading).

Also, make sure to take it off to wash and wax regularly!

Thanks for the advice Lady Bug. I'll bear it in mind.

Perfect Fits are easier to install than some floor mats!!
Takes about 5 minutes and you get a nice clean tight fit without wrinkles and no snaps, velcro or other devices needed to secure the two pieces to the hood and the front bumper.

I had a Colgen~ LOVED it! Could not find one this time though~ (03)
SO....I purchased one from VW....it's as strong as my Colgen was, but it attaches a little different, and has a mesh piece where the grill is..... also, the top piece is solid..no hole for the VW badge on the lid~ which is okay too~ but I liked the Colgen a little better for some reason! Other than that, this one is exactly like my Colgen!
