Before you replace the Cat, make sure it is really needed.

I had to replace mine on my 1.8t due to a broken piece of monolith between the 2 chambers and it sounded like marbles in a can.

I purchased mine for about $250 delivered from ebay seller mufexpress.

I was very happy with quality, fit and performance of the above unit.

Even came with the flange gasket.

Did you notice any gains from installing this DP? Does it sound any different than stock?

Looks nice btw.

I believe I do. The o2 sensor has been reopened. The code says it's reached a threshold output of contaminants. I assume that means it needs to be replaced.

No real change in performance.

I also liked the flex joint better than some of the other systems, this one is more of an OE style flex joint.

Also you may be getting codes for Catalyst Below Efficiency.

This is kind of normal on many cars, I think VW had a ECU update to solve this issue, but I also think small exhaust air leaks can also cause this due to things like cracked O2 sensor bung welds and so forth.
