All 4 center caps are looking very shabby. Can these be repainted? Has anyone here done this? If so, what paint did you use?

You could likely just sand them down lightly and hit them with some silver spray paint that works on plastic (assuming those are plastic center pieces like on my bug).

Or color coordinate with the rest of the car. Or a semi-gloss black, which would be a good choice if you're not sure you can match the silver or body color of the Beetle. Black goes with everything.

When I had my Key West wheels I took the center caps off because they either cracked or lost the plastic tabs holding them on. The wheels don't look bad without the caps. You could try plasti-dip on the wheels and caps or just the wheels.

Short answer: yes they can be repainted. Finding a color to match the wheels exactly may be tricky. I simply removed mine and painted the wheels. They are my winter set now. Acetone and a high grit sandpaper to remove. Don't press to hard or you will create scoring/gouging.
