I bought a Xmas tree a couple years ago (yep, the ex stole that as well). It was a prelit job with a stand and i think it was about $130 or so. I got that one at either Michael's or AC Moore, Michael's i think. Check the sales circulars. That was how i found it.
I say skip the tree altogether. I can't stand Xmas.
If you can stand to wait until after this holiday season...
I wanted a new one last year, pre-lit, but didn't want to pay what they were asking. I saw what I wanted at Sam's; it was $324 before Christmas. As the holiday approached, they began marking them down, but I still hesitated. Couldn't resist, though, when in January they had two left and they were selling them for $75 bucks. I got a 12-foot, pre-lit tree for $75-- that's a great deal!
Lowe's and Home Depot also have good smaller trees. If we put a real one in my house, we'd all end up in the hospital- we're deathly allergic to the real thing.
If I am gonna decorate the rest of my house and outside, rearrange my living room so it can go by the window and spend the time decorating it, I want it to smell like a dang tree. Aint nuttin' like the real thing. If it had cats in it, that would be a problem.
But WalMart and the like will be your best price.
Happy hunting, G
My tree is already up! Wasn't my choice.
I was worried that the puppy was gonna go nuts and try and drag it around the apartment but so far he's been good. He hasn't touched it...nor the nativity set underneath (big surprise!) he just likes to fall asleep underneath it when the lights are on. He's so cute!
My best friend has been doing Rituxan for chemo and also taking Cell-Cept 1000 mg/day and is having issues with hair thinning and scalp pain. She won't lose all her hair (Rituxan does not cause complete hair loss like most chemo), but her scalp hurts her a lot. Does anyone know of any...
This thread is about NOTHING. These are all off topic type discussions which most of the time end up on topic but they almost always go back to the way they should be. Off topic and wonderful randomness.
Post whatever you want...just keep it .org friendly! :fart:
GAME ON, BITCHES! :D...
I was told that we can have a thread to talk about nothing and everything. Dont wanna derail someones thread by talking nonsense...well then do it in here! :D
Talk about whatever you want just keep it clean and leave the hot topics in hot topics.
This should be fun :goodjob:
I figured this...
They're age old questions that we always address. Questions that confront one as two challengers of a Duel, a gunfight if you will. You know. "is one thing better than the other", etc.
As one answers the (duel) question, please address the next (duel)question in the same manner. This...
