Chicago Auto Show 2014: Volkswagen Beetle Global Rallycross Racer Makes Over 560-HP

Tanner Foust and former F1 driver Scott Speed will pilot a pair of Volkswagen Beetles with some serious balls starting at the June Summer X Games in Austin, Texas.

The news comes as part of an announcement Volkswagen made today that it will enter a 560-hp Beetle as part of its 2014 rallycross program. Both Foust and Speed will compete initially with European rally cross-prepped Polo. VW will partner with Andretti Sports Marketing for the new Beetle rally car, which will be powered by a turbocharged, direct injected TSI engine. Further details on the engine are still unreleased. Of course, it will direct power to all four wheels.

Its really great news.Automobile Industry is in great demand in today's generation.People are so excited for these auctions.Along with the new cars the salvage industry for used cars is also in great demand now a days.
