Hi folks

Is it just me, or do the Euro beetles have different shaped side mirrors than the american ones?
(ok mine has the chrome cover, but still then the shape seems to be different)

What do you think?

It's not just the Euros. The NA spec 70's, and Fender editions (or any Beetle model with the factory supplied chrome caps) get a different mirror housing than the standard 2.5's and Turbo cars.
I found this out the hard way, after trying to put the Fender's chrome caps on my 2013 2.5.

It was a long discussion over on vortex, but you can scroll down and see some pretty clear photos of the differences.
