Hello Guys,

I am going to replace the spark plugs in my 2002 1.8T AGU factory stock/no engine mods.

VW dealer say I need 101-000-063AA Platinum Plugs. Do these plugs come already with the correct gap?

I was checking NGK PFR 6Q since they cost less. Do these plugs come also with the correct gap?

I am pretty sure I can install the plugs myself but I dont know how to gap a plug neither have the tool.

Do I need to put anti-seize lubricant to the treaded part of the spark plug?

THX for your advise

Isaac

yes

Yes and yes to your questions. You can re-gap them yourself the tool only costs like a dollar at the local parts store and yes it's a good Idea to put anti-seize on the threads so they'll come out easier next time around. Plugs are one of the easiest things to do but it can turn ugly pretty quick if not paying attention to detail. Good luck man
