Hi, new to the forum, been reading for a while but thought I should join. RI resident.

I repaired a sag in my headliner today but while removing it I pulled off the tan colored trim from the door seal.

How do I reattach this? I now realise of course I could have just pulled the seal but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I see many second hand ones for sale with the trim on them, is it really one piece?

I belive the interior colored trim is supposed to slide back into the rubber seal. However, it may not fit tight anymore after being pulled out of falling out (like mine). I tried high strength glues with no success after melting away in the summer sun. I ended up taking small screws through the trim and into the black rubber behind. If done neatly, it looks great; much better than trim laying on the dash.
