I have no idea what parts you purchased. And I think that first link is incorrect as it's actually showing a dual-mass clutch.

Anyway. Yes it can be done and is pretty common.

A G60 flywheel, a VR6 clutch, and a VR6 pressure plate.
Those are the parts you need to make the conversion.

It will add some "chatter" but it's bennigin.

Actually, I'm also replacing the entire clutch, which is why I have those links above (for clutch kits).

Are you saying that I need to by the flywheel separately?

Is there any advantage to having a solid flywheel over the dual mass on a turbo engine? Or is the dual mass actually better?

DMF's suck, you need to switch it out for a SMF. The Sachs kit is good, but the standard 14lb flywheel that comes with it is on the "chattery" side.

Bora Parts

Get this kit and opt for the 17.5lb flywheel which has been balanced for less chatter. They are very quiet from what I have heard. Make sure you get a bolt kit too, its an option on that listing.
